December 2025

Alex...

Our list of harp orders keeps growing each week, and Alex keeps very busy making more and more harps (and training Mark how to make different models that he hasn't done yet). We're in the "transitioning" process of passing on the harp business to the next generation, and want to do it slowly so that we have plenty of time to overlap.

We had a wonderful visit this October at Alex's dad's 100* Brithday Party in Hanson, MA, and it was a memorable

time where we could all be together. We rented a large AirBnB near Cape Cod for a few days and had lots of fun cooking together and walking on the beaches.

Alex went to FL with a team to do prison ministry with Gospel Express earlier this month, and enjoyed his experience with the group that went from PA to minister to those behind bars. Lately, a favorite pastime for Alex is cooking, which he enjoys doing on the weekends. You'll find him making home made bread, apple pie and eggplant paresan. This past holiday (Thanksgiving at Dena's) he had fun with the grandsons making Ratatouille.

She's keeping busy with her four "littles" in tow as she continues to homeschool, host parties, and play harp for different events. Baby Lily was born April 1st... and "no joke" it was Josh's birthday too! This month she joined her brother Anthony playing harp/cello for "A Christmas Carol" play by Servant Stage.

Sue...

I've had lots of health challenges this year. In the Spring I had a series of mini-strokes and found out my left artery was 70% blocked. So at the end of April I went in for surgery - which went well. The results were immediate and I had no more stroke symptoms. The one thing that was negative was that one of the meds they put me on (Plavix) gave me nose bleeds, and I slowly lost blood. So I ended up in the hospital again in October needing a blood transfusion. During that hospital stay my left retina detached and I had eye surgery on Dec.12t (and have been recovering from now (ten days with my head down!). So there's never a dull moment.

One of the highlights for me this summer was creating a new sun room onto the house where the back porch was. After two trees fell on top of the back porch our insurance covered the project. It's a bright sunny place where we all enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding us... it's everyone's favorite spot!

Our new sunroom was completed this summer!

Dena & Nate & family...

Are busy on their new property in Nottingham, PA. We love going there on family events because there is lots of room for the grandchildren to run and play.

Joanna & Stephen & family...

Are keeping busy in TN with construction on their new home. Stephen (and the boys) got the harp shop done, so he's making harps for us again. He's got lots more machinery than we do here, so we'll be glad to pass on more projects.

It was an eventful arrival for baby Lily Aziza. Born on April 1, 2025 (on her daddy's birthday!).

Anthony...

December 2025 Update P.3 This summer he joined a work crew In Alaska. He worked August & September on a construction crew making fiberglass igloos for guests to come to a special resort to see the Northern Lighs. He's quite a "jack of all trades" and is either helping build wooden airplanes, training firemen how to use the special creature craft boats, or learning the many uses of caulk for repair jobs with Arthur Arker. This month he's playing cello for local Christmas shows.

Paul...

Has been spending many hours putting together a new website (using Square Space) for our harp business. We're hoping it will be up and running end of December. He's also the "main man" when it comes to making the Chord Harps... and we have a few of them on order now. He also worked part time at Sight & Sound in the cast for the show Noah this year, and recently was asked to go to Branson, MO, to play the role of David (due to coverage needs) so he flew there Dec. 14th!. He had played this role 3 years ago, so there was some dusting off to do!

Mark...

He continues to work two jobs: making harps in the mornings, and coaching tennis in the afternoons. He finds time to go fishing in between, and has even been awarded "Angler of the Year" in our area (mid-Atlantic states). We're always glad when he brings some fish home for us!
