The LAP Harp Series offers a range of lightweight, portable harps designed to cater to various needs while maintaining exceptional tonal quality and craftsmanship. Available in 28-string (Bass LAP Harp), 26-string (LAP Harp), and 24-string (Therapy LAP Harp) models, each harp is thoughtfully crafted to provide comfort, ease of transport, and beautiful resonance.
The LAP Harp (26 strings) is our original LAP Harp design and was created for players who want added versatility and comfort without sacrificing sound, performance and portability. With a range starting from a low C3 to high G6 this harp has exceptional tonal resonance!
The Bass LAP Harp (28 strings) extends the range even further, starting at a low F2 to high E6 offering a rich, deep resonance. It features a longer pillar and neck to accommodate the additional strings, making it the perfect choice for those seeking fuller bass tones while maintaining a manageable weight.
The Therapy LAP Harp (24 strings) is the smallest and lightest in the series, starting at low C3 to high A6 and weighing just 5 pounds and 3 ounces. Made from a combination of cherry and paulownia wood, this harp is ideal for therapeutic settings, such as hospitals, where standing while playing with a strap is required.
